About D.R. Macleod

D.R. Macleod is a family-run haulage business established in 1981. The company has run a successful business on the Scottish Highlands and Islands for over 40 years, currently operating a fleet of over 70 vehicles and 90 trailers.

DFDS will now operate the haulage business, specialising in general haulage, refrigerated transport and specialist transport. With operating centres in Glasgow, Inverness, Stornoway and Lochmaddy, the business will integrate with the DFDS Scotland Cold Chain Logistics business unit. As of 2023, D.R. Macleod's haulage business is officially operated by DFDS.
